Wilfersdorf wind farm continues to grow

Windkraft Simonsfeld has taken another step towards energy independence. We are currently erecting our three wind turbines from the German manufacturer Nordex in Wilfersdorf. The second turbine has now also been completed.

The expansion of the wind farm is therefore in full swing. With the completion of the second turbine last week and the start of trial operation at the end of August, we are progressing according to plan. The three new turbines in the 5 and 7 MW class will produce around 41.7 million kWh of clean electricity per year from the fall. This corresponds to the needs of over 10,400 households and is a further step towards energy independence. The rotor blades for the last turbine were delivered at the beginning of July, and the main installation is expected to begin at the end of August.
