Windkraft Simonsfeld plans to make a responsible contribution to climate protection and climate targets by generating renewable energy. One of our other main objectives lies in establishing forward-looking and sustainable corporate governance that accounts for environmental, social and economic aspects in equal measure, as enshrined in our Articles of Association.
Windkraft Simonsfeld AG also funnels a portion of its earnings into projects that are not directly related to our core business. As a result, we are involved in a number of non-profit driven projects in the field of renewable energy generation and support several charitable initiatives aimed at achieving economic, social and climate justice.
Windkraft Simonsfeld bases its environmental efforts on the sustainable development goals (SDGs) proclaimed by the United Nations. As a wind power producer, we take climate action (SDG 13) by providing affordable and clean energy (SDG 7), fulfilling two of the sustainable development goals in the process. We go to great lengths to ensure we exemplify responsible consumption and production in line with SDG 12 and raise awareness as well as provide education in this regard. Needless to say, we also
want to provide all employees at our company with decent work and economic growth in line with SDG 8, i.e., sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
